David is ABA's Director and Owner.
David is the CIPS Programme Director, tutoring at all levels of the qualification. His practical experience of over forty years was developed in a variety of environments including, Oil & Gas, Food, Retail, Manufacturing, Mining, and the Public Sector where he has held a range of senior and advisory roles.
David is a Fellow of CIPS and a Fellow of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management (ISMM). He is also a guest lecturer at Lahore University of Managerial Science (LUMS), and GTA University Centre (Guernsey).
In his spare time, David loves diving and underwater photography.
BA (Hons), PGCE
Lu is based in our Norwich head office focusing on client engagement, contract management, teaching standards and launching our new Procurement & Supply Apprenticeships.
Outside of ABA, Lu is an author. When she’s not in our office or working with our students, she can usually be found working on her next novel.
Evie de Belgeonne
In this role she manages the office, student, and tutor administration. This includes diary and venue coordination, exam bookings, and assisting with enquiries.
Outside of ABA, Evie enjoys spending time with her partner and young son discovering all the beautiful scenery and fun adventures
Norfolk has to offer.
David Wright FHEA MCIPS, MSc, BA
Based in Thetford, David teaches in our Norwich, Cambridge, and Cardiff centres. He has been a member of CIPS for over 35 years, teaching at all level for the past thirty; he is also CIPS Examiner/Assessor.
David holds an MSc in Entrepreneurial Studies from Stirling University and is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
In his spare time, David is a Ceramic Artist, as well as enjoying writing novels and plays. He is also building himself a holiday home in Portugal.
Martin Higginson BSC (Hons), PGCE
Martin’s specialism is in Procurement and Business Skills. His business experience was gained in the media industry working for a range of publications including Saes development and training.
Before changing careers to become an independent business trainer, Martin was the Course Leader for the CIPS Professional Qualifications, BA Hons Professional Studies and Course Director for BTEC Level 3 Business at an East Anglian College and CIPS Centre of Excellence.
Martin teaches in Norwich and Cambridge at all CIPS levels. Outside of teaching, Martin runs the Suffolk Wine Academy.
Katie Jarvis-Grove FCIPS
Katie has worked in a variety of procurement industries ranging from manufacturing to agriculture to MOD. She has practical and management experience in private sector procurement including cost reduction strategies, contract and supplier management, and supply chain management.
Katie runs her own business working with companies to improve supply chain, reduce input costs and train in effective procurement.
Katie works across all of ABA's Centres of Excellence, teaching at all levels.
Fraser Pass BA, MSc
Fraser has a wide experience of systems, training and organisational development within both public and utility sector procurement environments. In his forty plus years' experience Fraser has worked in stores administration, purchasing, contract administration and project management.
Fraser is an excellent mentor for students having managed numerous procurement graduate training programmes and modern apprentice schemes in Scotland.
Fraser teaches CIPS at our Edinburgh centre.
Lesley Mason, FCIPS, LLM
Lesley is a procurement professional with considerable experience gained in the Housing and public sector. Lesley brings a wealth of practical procurement experience supported by a masters degree in contract law enabling her to give a specific insight in to contractual and public procurement law.
She is a CIPS author for the new qualifications, a member of the CIPS branch network and former chairperson of the East Anglia branch. Lesley is actively involved in the development of procurement people.
She teaches in all of our centres in the East.
Alan Oxenbury BA (Hons), FCIPS
Alan is a procurement professional, with significant experience in Procurement & Contract Management across the utilities and public sector. His practical experience provides a depth of knowledge assisting students with their learning at all levels of CIPS qualifications. He is an Assessor and Study Centre Auditor, giving him a wider view of the qualification process.
Alan teaches a range of subjects, and is always in high demand to teach Supply Chain Diligence at Professional Diploma level. Alan teaches mostly at our Cardiff and guest lectures in East Anglia.
